30 cum community based biogas plant at Hathikhuli, Assam

Our pilot scale 30 cum capacity agro-waste, food waste and cow dung based biogas plant unit at Amalgamated Plantations Private Limited, Tata Tea Estate, Hathikuli, Assam is providing cooking gas to 25 families eliminating dependency of staff members of tea processing unit on LPG. Project is funded by Centre for Microfinance & Livelihood (CML), Tata Trust.

In addition plant also digested organic manure, which is being used in organic tea gardens as organic fertilizer.
